Q. Does PITCH2ME.COM guarantee that my project will get funded?
A. There are many reasons why projects do not get funded including, lack of commercial viability, inability to reach agreement, financial unattractiveness, etc. PITCH2ME.COM’s goal is to provide an opportunity for filmmakers to expose their projects to the widest audience of investors as possible; however we make no guarantee that any project will get funded.

Q. Can I upload a Pitch and a trailer?
A. Yes, at no additional cost. All videos must be in the following formats: "mp4", "m4v", "f4v", "mov", "webm", "flv", "ogv")

Q. What is the best way to maximize my chances to get funded?
A. PREPARATION! Your project profile can be strong or weak. A strong project profile consists of at least a great well-written script, a reasonable budget, a cast wish-list, script coverage, presales, distribution and perhaps some seed money. These elements are not absolutely necessary but they do catch investor’s attention.

Q. Can I see Investors profiles?
A. Most investors want to remain anonymous until they find a project that fits their criteria, and they expect PITCH2ME.COM to keep their identity confidential.

Q. How long should my pitch video be?
A. Brief! You have up to five minutes; however since most of our attention span is less than that, we suggest that you should be able to make a convincing pitch within 2 minutes (we recommend no longer than 90 seconds). Your Call!

Q. Should I be concerned that by putting my project online my intellectual property (IP) can be stolen?
A. It is possible that two people can have the same idea at the same time. To safe guard your IP we strongly urge you to register your project with the US Copyright Office www.copyright.gov and the Writers Guild Of America www.wga.org . Mailing it to yourself (poor persons copyright) is not good enough. Additionally, you have the option to only supply a synopsis or a treatment. Please note that all users are bound by a universal NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement).

Q. How do I know if someone is visiting my profile?
A. At the bottom of your profile page there is a field called Number of Visitors. It tells you how may people have looked at your project profile. Soon we will be offering a smart phone APP that will give you instant updates on site visits.

Q. Do I have to load a video pitch?
A. No. But we suggest that you do or have someone do it for you. This will allow you and the investor to see each other eye-to-eye and build a relationship.

Q. How can PITCH2ME.COM help me with marketing my project to the appropriate investors?
A. We have several ways to help get your project in the face of investors. 1) You can upload your project for a nominal fee on to the Screening Room where investors go to look current deals. 2) We can push your project to investors that have indicated that they are looking for such projects.

A. No, Neither PITCH2ME.COM LLC (DBA Pitch2Me) nor any of its affiliates offer or sale any securities. PITCH2ME.COM LLC (DBA Pitch2Me) acts a Finder.

Q. Does PITCH2ME.COM offer financial advise?
A. No. PITCH2ME.COM does not offer financial advice; however, we can make referrals for advise and/or consulting services to our affiliated companies including FILMBANKERS INTERNATIONAL LLC.

Q. Is PITCH2ME.COM LLC own or controlled by FILMBANKERS INTERNATIONAL LLC?
A. No. PITCH2ME.COM LLC is a separate company. PITCH2ME.COM LLC does have a marketing and licensing agreement for certain intellectual property from FILMBANKERS INTERNATIONAL LLC such as the FBIndex™ and Ultimator™.

Q. Can I have more than one project on the site at one time?
A. Yes. Each project is considered a separate entity. You must pay an additional fee for each project but we will link all filmmaker projects together so investors can have access to all of a filmmaker’s works.

Q. Who does PITCH2ME.COM consider as investors?
A. We consider Individuals, Production Companies, Agents, Distributors, Producers, Studios, Family Offices, and Investment Companies all apart of the financing chain and therefore potential investors.

Q. Are the investors only from the United States?
A. No. We invite investors from all over the globe to participate in the film financing process.

Q. As a filmmaker can I contact the investors directly?
A. Yes but only after they have contacted you first and given their permission.

Q. How does PTICH2ME.NET collect its success fee?
A. To insure a clear chain of title, once a project is funded and either escrow is opened or investment agreements are signed, our success fee should be included into the budget and paid directly to PITCH2ME.COM LLC through escrow.

Q. Does PITCH2ME.COM automatically put a lien on all projects?
A. Yes. PITCH2ME.COM uses a standard financing statement (form UCC-1)
that is used throughout the industry to secure our financial interests in projects that get funded through our services.

Q. How do I get my pitch video on the Screening Room?
A. Click the Screening Room tab on your Project Welcome page, pay your fee, and then upload your video.
